Duaa Zahra

Duaa Zahra, a first-generation Iraqi-American, stands at the intersection of painting, poetry, and activism. Armed with a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, she conveys her experiences through mystical expressions on canvas. As an oil painter, her work intricately weaves together vibrant strokes, telling tales of resilience and interconnectedness. She channels her art for healing and transformation, transcending mere brushstrokes. Duaa's art delves into the exploration of identity beyond the confines of man-made borders , echoing her quest as a refugee and beyond.
